Spam and Poncho's
Well, in knitting news.. I am working on the baby blankets, and pleased with the beginnings of the first one.. Which means that I have 3 more to go.
I began skimming through the web at the free pattern sites. Knitty is excluded from this, since well... It's cool. What I am finding is that there is an endless supply of more poncho patterns. You know the poncho thing was cool when I was young, it was even fun to knit the couple that I did last year. But, frankly I am sick of them. In one website there were at least 5 "new" poncho patterns. Which all looked the same, the instructions were bascially all the same, only the yarns changed. I mean really, just because Martha wore one, doesn't mean that we all have to wear them again. I am sorry that she had to miss nearly a year out in the big wild world, when all of us were wearing and making them. But do we really have to do it again? Left overs are cool the day after the original dinner, but trying to eat it for a third time is just.... Gross.
In life news... Work, Home, Knit, Sleep... repeat. Throw in an occasional sewing project, and maybe a good movie or two..but for the most part the song remains the same.
On Spam: What is it with SPAM comments on my Blog? I could care less about car insurance. I could care even less about some Halloween Costume shop.. I mean really, we have spent all this time trying to get it out of our email and instant messengers, and prosecute SPAMMERs to the fullest extent that the law will allow, and now they have to show up HERE?
I swear, the first crap I see for Penis Enlargement Pills,Breast Optimizers and Viagra bought outside this coutnry, I am going to scream, pull my hair out and take my Blog on hiatus.
This is MY relaxing corner of the web.. I don't want it invaded with garbage.
Okay, time to get off my soap box, and go back to my office.
Watch- I'm going to get SPAM for laundry whitener now.
